I have had a passion for color and design for the past 20 years. At 12 years old I would cut out images
from catalogs (Spiegel to be exact) of furniture, lamps, art, etc. and add in a wall color to design a room,
and would constantly resort my own room. It has always been something that I love; something that
makes my heart happy.
Upon graduating from Bowling Green State University, I got married to my high school sweetheart and
we moved out to southern California to start a new adventure. There I started my first company in event and wedding planning and design where I collaborated with amazing and inspirational talent creating
personal events that celebrated life moments. I also freelanced working in floral design and event
design and management for various corporate clients in the area. The time I spent out west offered such wonderful experiences and will be years I always cherish.
As all things have their moments in time, we wanted to be closer to family so decided to move back to Ohio and chose Columbus to call home. I joined an event and floral design company for two years where I decorated residences and designed weddings and events for clients, including The Ohio State University, Ohio Statehouse, Franklin Park Conservatory and private clients throughout the city. From there I took a break from the event design world and moved into retail, working at the Express home office and at Anthropologie where I was the Visual Manager of the Easton location. I also freelanced whenever time allowed as a Color & Design Consultant for various residential clients throughout the Columbus area.
In the midst of my professional life I became the proud mom of four which helped me to decide to move out of the "9-5" world and concentrate on my passion for color and home design. Warm Spaces by Design, LLC is a company over 10 professional years in the making. It is my hope to be brought into your home to help warm your space to be the true reflection of you and your family.
Currently I am a Provisional Member of the International Association of Color Consultants, North America.
Wishing you a happy day!
